Frequently Asked Questions
-
How does this work?
It’s $8 per person to play as many games as you want for as long as you’re with us!
When you arrive, we ask that you come find us at the bar. We’ll make sure you have a great spot! You grab a game and head to your table. We’ll bring some water and a sign to stand up if you want to order anything. Anything you order goes on a tab and you pay for everything, including the cover charge, at the end of your time. Just come back up to the bar when you’re done and we’ll settle up!
-
Why do I have to pay to play?
Having a cover charge allows us to continually add games to our library. As well, it helps us cover the costs of any repair or replacement that needs to happen.
Your cover charge gives you unlimited gaming during your stay and we think it’s a pretty fair rate.
Additionally, we offer Memberships at reasonable prices that erase the cover for you and grant you a couple additional benefits!
-
Do you have special rates for children?
We do!
Kids 5 and under are always free. Kids 12 and under will receive 50% off our regular admittance of $8. (Party rooms remain full price for kids 12 and under)
As well, every single Sunday, kids 12 and under are free in the main room when playing games with an accompanying adult!
-
What's up with the Memberships?
Members get, primarily, three benefits: No cover, 10% off of ticketed events, 50% off of in-house Dungeons and Dragons events, and 10% off of the regular price of new retail game purchases.
Memberships can be purchase, in store, for one month, three months, or twelve month terms.
There are special rates available for kids and youth!
-
What's the deal with these party rooms?
We have two private party rooms. For access to them, it’s $10 per person rather than the $8 cover charge for our main seating area.
They seat, comfortably, up to 8 people.
They’re very popular so you should reserve them early!
-
Do you sell gift cards?
We sure do! You can purchase them in-store or online, here: E-Gift Cards
-
Can I bring in outside food or drinks
No.
Maybe a cake if it’s a birthday.
-
Do I have to make a reservation?
You do not HAVE to have a reservation. That being said, we always encourage you to make a reservation as we’re never really certain how busy we’re going to be on a given day. Weekends are currently often set to reservation only as seats are limited.
There’s no charge or deposits for reservations except for parties of 10 or more. A $50 deposit may be required to hold your spot and a 20% minimum gratuity will be applied to your bill.
-
Do I have to pay cover if I'm not playing games?
If you’re just coming in for a coffee or a snack, you are not required to pay the cover charge.
That being said, if we’re very busy and we need your table, we may ask you to make space for those people who are coming in to play games.
-
Can I bring my own games in?
You sure can!
Magic The Gathering, role playing game supplies, whatever, bring it on in! We’ll just ask that you be prepared to pay our regular cover charge.
